India Worthington is an eleven-year-old philanthropist from South Australia. India wrote to Sunrise Cambodia earlier this year with big plans to run a lemonade stand and bake off to raise funds for the less fortunate in Cambodia. “I’m a very charitable person and I like helping others,” said India in her letter. India and her crew of helpers went gangbusters, raising more than $800 for the cause. What a success! A few weeks later, founder Geraldine Cox was visiting Adelaide and teed up a milkshake meet with India and the gang. It’s enthusiastic supporters like India and her friends that make the world go round.
