Thank you for considering a gift in your will to Sunrise Cambodia. It is an amazing way to leave a lasting legacy long after you’re gone. Bequests can take the form of a specific amount of money or nominated asset (such as a house or other land, shares, life insurance or superannuation policy and other assets such as artwork or jewellery), or a percentage of your estate. Leaving a bequest to Sunrise Cambodia is a big decision and we strongly encourage you to talk this through with your family and loved ones before you come to this decision. The information below should be used as a guide and we recommend discussing your bequest with your solicitor.

If your estate is uncomplicated you may prefer to write your will yourself. The below wording should be used as a guide and we recommend consulting a professional before finalising your will.

I give the sum of $___ to The Australia Cambodia Foundation (ABN 37 730 989 411) and I direct that this bequest be applied to the work of Sunrise Cambodia and the associated community development and health services provided in Cambodia through Sunrise Cambodia projects. Should The Australia Cambodia Foundation or Sunrise Cambodia for any reason not be in operation at the date of my death, then I give this sum to such other organisation as my Executors may determine for the charitable purposes of assisting children and families in Cambodia.

It is up to you if you want to tell us of your intention to leave Sunrise Cambodia a gift in your will, but we would like the opportunity to thank you for your generous gift and keep you updated on the projects we are working on in Cambodia. All information received by Sunrise Cambodia will be treated with the strictest confidence and we will respect your wishes if you choose to remain anonymous.
